How Higherdose Red Light Face Mask Work

Red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that delivers different wavelengths of light to skin, mimicking natural sunlight in order to rejuvenate your complexion but without dangerous UVA rays.

A mixture of specific red light and near infrared wavelengths, penetrate deep into the skins layers of tissue to increase circulation, stimulate collagen production and rejuvenation. This rejuvenation process results in a visibly brighter and healthier complexion and more.

Red Light Therapy and studies of their effects on skin have been around for decades but were only available at Spa’s and certain dermatologist offices. Today Red Light Therapy is available for the convenient and private use at home.

Scientific studies have proven that the best wavelengths for anti-aging results are 630nm and 830nm wavelengths which match Higherdose Red Light Therapy Face Mask specs exactly.

How to Use Higherdose Red Light Face Mask

There are just three simple steps to using Higherdose Red Light Therapy Face Mask. Steps number four and five are completely optional however, they will help maximize results. Higherdose also recommends using their Red Light Therapy Face Mask three to five times per week for a minimum of 10 minutes per session for optimal results.

  1. First you want to start by washing your face with a gentle cleanser, making sure all make-up and mineral based sunscreen has been removed and dry your face. LED masks work best on completely clean skin,
  2. Place the mask snugly against your forehead and cheeks then secure head strap.
  3. Choose either a 10- or 20-minute session on your controller and continue with your day.
  4. After your session is complete splash your face with ice-cold water to increase cellular recovery and rejuvenating benefits.
  5. To rev up even more benefits apply a hydrating serum or nourishing moisturizer.

My Experience & Thoughts

I first noticed upon opening the box how soft and flexible the mask is, then immediately reached for the instructions as I was excited to give the Higherdose Red Light Therapy Face Mask a try!

I thoroughly read the instructions even though I could have easily figured out how to use the mask without them due to its simple but effective design.

I wanted to find out if you could really see visible results after just one treatment so I opted for the 20-minute session.

I found the mask to be lightweight and comfortable to wear and the warmth of the lights actually felt good and even had a slight calming effect. You can pretty much go about your normal daily activities with the wireless mobility, but the mask is quite bright and makes it hard to read.

The 20-minute treatment time went by quickly as I opted not to read but to fold all the clothes my 9-year-old son had tried on and didn’t wear throughout the week.

After the first treatment and completing the extra optional steps, I quickly analyzed my skin and to my surprise the skin was less red and blotchy and a little healthier looking. Unfortunately, my fine lines and wrinkles were still quite visible, but I was happy to have any improvement after just one use. Given the ease of use and no shortage of chores to complete during treatment, it was easy to commit to using almost daily for six weeks.

My only complaints with Higherdose Red Light Therapy Face Mask and why I rated it a 9 out of 10 is that it does not offer blue light wavelengths which is good for treatment of acne and does not come with a neck cover.

* The flexible design does allow you to use the face mask of different body parts such as the neck, chest, arms and more.

Features & Design

The Higherdose Red Light Therapy Face Mask is designed for optimal use and benefits, unlike other LED face masks that restricts you to lying down during treatment because of the short cord range and to prevent mask slippage.

Higherdose’s Red Therapy Light Mask has a cordless design with eye holes and extra head strap which allows you to move around freely while soaking up the benefits of a treatment.

Accessories

The Higherdose Red Therapy Light Face Mask comes with a power supply and adapter, a USB C to USB A connecting cord, a pair of goggles, user manual, and a convenient carrying and storage bag to keep it all in.

Conclusion

I would absolutely purchase HigherDOSE Red Light Therapy Face Mask again and recommend it to anyone searching for a noninvasive anti-aging tool that delivers results. After using this mask for six weeks my complexion and skin texture has improved significantly. I can see a visible reduction in fine lines and pore size, age spots are lightened and less noticeable, and my complexion has a glow that’s been missing for years.
